1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Kadendoc (the "Service"), available at kadendoc.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Kadendoc is a browser-based PDF editing tool. It has no server-side file processing — every operation (filling, drawing, redacting, merging, splitting, and building forms) runs locally inside your own browser. Kadendoc does not receive, store, or have access to the files you work with.

3. No account, no warranty of fitness for a specific purpose

The Service is provided free of charge and does not require an account. It is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Kadendoc does not guarantee that the Service will meet any specific regulatory, legal, or compliance requirement your organization may have — including but not limited to HIPAA. Whether your use of Kadendoc satisfies your organization's compliance obligations is your responsibility to determine, typically in consultation with your own compliance or legal team.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kadendoc, or the Kadendoc name, logo, or brand, to:

• Engage in or facilitate any illegal activity, fraud, or misrepresentation;
• Create, alter, or falsify documents with intent to deceive, defraud, or harm any person, organization, insurer, or government entity;
• Impersonate Kadendoc, its creators, or any other person or organization, or falsely claim affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by Kadendoc;
• Use the Kadendoc name, logo, or branding in connection with any other product, service, or communication without prior written permission;
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service in a way intended to harm other users or the Service itself;
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

Kadendoc reserves the right to take appropriate action — including public clarification that misuse was not authorized or affiliated with Kadendoc — in response to any violation of this section.

5. Your responsibility for your files and data

Because Kadendoc does not transmit or store your files, you are solely responsible for the content of any document you create, edit, or handle using the Service, and for complying with any law or organizational policy that applies to that content (including patient privacy and data protection laws, where applicable).

6. Intellectual property

The Kadendoc name, logo, and the Service's design and code are the property of Kadendoc's creators. Using the Service does not grant you any rights to Kadendoc's branding or underlying code beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kadendoc and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including damages resulting from misuse of the Service or the Kadendoc name by any third party.

8. Changes to the Service or these terms

Kadendoc may update these terms, or change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes to these terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
